Senior Network Analyst - Cabling & Infrastructure

The Edward Jones Information Systems (IS) division is seeking an individual for a Senior Network Analyst position in the Cabling & Infrastructure department in Tempe, AZ. This individual will be responsible for the support of Data Center Operations, managed data center hardware, and all associated cabling infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
-Provide Firm Facilities detailed IS requirements for projects/support activities to ensure that adequate facilities (Power, Cabling, A/C etc.) are available 24X7X365.
-Coordination of structured cabling installation for existing Data.
-Centers, Outside Plant, and New Construction.
-Conduct Data Center walk-throughs to review adherence to standards and procedures for power, fiber, and copper cabling.
-Provide 3rd and 4th tier support to the network operations team and other IS support teams.
-Provide project and support coordination of associate efforts to enforce adherence to the firm's design standards, policies, and guidelines.
-Create clear and efficient scopes of work and cable schedules in a timely manner.
-Coordinate the ordering of cables and infrastructure components to prevent delays with IS projects.
-Tracking equipment through the asset management system.

Qualified applicants will have :
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent IS experience.
-Five or more years of experience with structured cabling systems (CAT 3, CAT 5, CAT 6, fiber optic cable installations etc.)in a large-scale environment.
-Experienced in the set-up and installation of closets including but not limited to: installation of rack equipment, ladder rack, cable management hardware, terminations, and verification of premise wiring.
-Experience with overall site design associated with voice/data projects; installing voice, data, and fiber structured cabling.
-Experience with project management/support and creating scope of work documents.
-Knowledge of voice and data cabling solutions.
-Experience with network hardware (routers, switches etc.) is preferred.
-Candidate must be highly motivated, results-oriented, and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Ability to work in a team environment.
-BICSI or RCDD certification is a plus.
