Network Engineering Manager

A large area retail company headquarters is looking for an energetic, experienced network engineer who can design, implement, and support the corporate LAN, WAN, and Cisco/HP switches and routers. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a team player attitude and must be able to demonstrate their experienced and knowledge in the following areas. Five 5 + years of extensive Cisco router, switch, VPN, and PIX experience. 802.11 wireless experience. Cisco certification CCNP or equivalent in experience. Experience with Cisco router protocol (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and RIP). Experience with network services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory). Familiar with cabling standards and technologies. Experience with Frame Relay, DSL, and MPLS. Mitel VOIP experience a plus. Experience with configuring network monitoring software or platforms. Experience with network protocol analysis using Sniffer or similar device. Wireless network knowledge and familiar with Symbol hardware. Must be self motivated, have strong organization skills, be able to communicate effectively, strong customer service skills. Spanish language skills are a plus. You must have excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills. Essential Job Duties are: Perform architecture design of the corporate infrastructure which includes LAN/WAN, Internet connectivity/firewall, and IP scheme. Implement and support organization’s LAN/WAN (switches, routers, and firewalls). Manage the TCP/IP address scheme across the enterprise network. Manage Frame Relay and DSL connectivity.
