Infrastructure Project Manager
Our client a leading Insurance company is looking to bring on an Infrastructure Project Manager to support system-wide IT planning and project management.
Description- Infrastructure PM to help with planning and managing large scale projects across the enterprise. Must have good working knowledge of PMI project management principles and techniques. Candidates must have 4-5 years of experience in a PM role, and are capable of managing 2-3 large projects concurrently. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Types of projects- Storage Management, migrations, server consolidations, software rollouts
Requirements- Highly organized, strong multitasking skills, self starter, able to be resourceful. Quick learner. Able to work independently and in a group. Need little supervision or micro-mangement.
Requirements: Bachelors degree preferred, technical understanding and exposure to the following infrastructure/applications/OS/HW- IBM X and P Series Hardware Sun Solaris HW/OS, IBM TSM Software, Storage for Open Systems, STK Tape backup/storage, Unix Mainframe, Windows 2003 Enterprise OS.
Desired: Exposure to AIX 5.2 OS, Linux Red HAT Enterprise OS LPAR technology, VMWareTechnology, Internet Web based application technology, Citrix Websphere, Sun One LDAP, and Siteminder
Tools- MS Project, PlanView, Primavera
6 months +
Pay up to $50-60 hr DOE
