The Assistant Web Master will assist the Web Master with day-to-day projects and updates associated with the coolest, pop-culture-driven, most innovative and expansive company Web site ever. The online home of everything McFarlane (spawn.com/mcfarlane.com) attracts more than 2 million visitors each month!  This is a full-time position where you will also work closely with other departments to ensure that the information presented on the company Web site is accurate and up to date.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Will work closely with the Web Master on daily, weekly and monthly Web site updates. 

 

Specific duties include:

 

·  Updating weekly news content;

·  Maintaining current and accurate information daily in regards to all McFarlane product and projects;

·  Assisting the Web Master with organization and reporting of website statistics.

 

Skills Required:

 

·  Must be very organized and detail oriented

·  Must be very proficient in HTML and Javascript

·  Must have experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

·  Must have good communication skills

 

 

Beneficial Skills:

 

·  Experience with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and InDesign

·  Experience with Video and Audio editing software

·  Experience with Macintosh operating system

 

 

Salary will be based on prior experience, skills and education.
