Sr Business Analyst

Job description:* Gathering business and functional requirements from end-users.
* Creating use cases and analysis models
* Writing business and functional requirements.
* Coordinating with development and business teams to review and signoff on requirements.
* Maintaining requirements in DOORS.

Skills:
* Experience eliciting, analyzing and authoring detailed business and technical requirements
* Experience using structured methodologies for systems development
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Proficient in English
* Experience with formal change management processes and tools (PVCS Tracker preferred)
* Experience with formal requirements management processes and tools (DOORS strongly preferred)
* Experience in full life cycle development is a plus.

As stated above this individual must possess excellent communication skills including the ability to interact effectively. The position requires that the person be able to work independently, raise risks and issues, and estimate tasks accurately. The individuals will be located in Rockville, MD office. However, travel will be required to meet with end users.
