Sales Training Operations Manager:

 

Position Description:

Assures that the Learning & Development organization drives an effective training & development curriculum for and across all KUSA sales organizations. Leads the instructional design that will require creation, modification and/or elimination of programs.

This role directs the development, alignment and execution of sales training & development activities for the KUSA Sales Learning & Development team.
This encompasses all KUSA business units and includes select departments related to sales execution. (e.g. (customer service, sales operations, select HQ personnel).

- Builds a fluid progressive development track that enables sales resources at all levels to develop their competencies and career potential.
- Works closely with Sales Training Consultants, Sales L&D, to understand business unit L&D strategies & expectations and direct the Sales Training team to develop/deliver targeted solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills required. - Ability to effectively facilitate focus groups, training programs, workshops, and meetings required.
- Develops the Annual calendar that ensures efficient/effective execution of prioritized programs by the Sales L&D team. (across all businesses) Manages conflicts across the team by deploying all management resources from other business units to facilitate/train.
- Directs the execution of all KUSA program initiatives.
- Develops processes and practices that enable optimal performance by the Sales L&D team. Leads change to the agenda based on prioritization of the key activities and the team's ability to deploy resources effectively.
- Ability to design new methods & systems to operate across multiple business disciplines.

 Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree (Business, Organizational Development, Learning Behavior, etc.) preferred. Training certification(s) a plus.

Minimum of 10-15 years diversified Kellogg's experience preferred. Business unit and personnel leadership experience required. Advanced understanding required of how each individual business unit operates. Must possess the ability to influence both internal and external principals at multiple levels.

Minimum of 5-7 years of training and development experience preferred. Expertise in instructional design, program development, and delivering training solutions tied to strategic imperatives and delivered in multiple formats required.

Effective prioritization of financial expectations and risk management.

Aptitude and passion for training and development and ability to lead change individually and across teams.

Travel approximately 25- 33%.
