Business Unit Leader

Business Unit Leader :

 

Position Description:

We currently have an opening for a Business Unit Leader in our production area.

This position will be responsible for: - supervising hourly production employees - managing defined areas of production operations to achieve budget expectations and to ensure continuous improvement in productivity, quality, safety, sanitation, raw material utilization, maintenance and operating costs.

Position Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven PC ability are required as well as 2-3 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Food manufacturing and union experience is a plus. Kellogg experience will be considered.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred as well as experience in quality control programs and processes.

Position requires considerable paid weekend work and will be either on the 3-11 p.m. or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift.
