Store Building Specialist

The Store Building Specialist will deliver the highest level of Brand Maintenance to ensure Great Looking Stores everyday.

Maintained Right

• Proactively identify and resolve Great Looking Store/Brand Maintenance opportunities

• Preventive Maintenance and Blue Card ownership and execution

Fixed Right

• Provide great quality and fast service at the lowest possible cost without sacrificing Great Looking Store/Brand Maintenance

• Communicate and partner with store teams

Brand Right

• Follow-up and/or escalate when work performed does not meet Great Looking Store/Brand Maintenance standards

• Ensure all areas of the store meet Great Looking Store/Brand Maintenance standards everyday for our guests

The Store Building Specialist (SBS) will accomplish their core roles by:

FAST, FUN & FRIENDLY TEAM

• Training new team members through the use of company-sponsored programs.

• Being friendly, positive, helpful, and team-oriented; showing respect for all team members and guests; being willing to learn new skills to help the store, the team, and yourself.

• Maintaining an active IDP, as well as, participating in all store training and development programs.

• Reporting to work for all shifts, on time; returning to work on time from all meals and breaks.

• Supporting the safety culture; working within training and safety guidelines, avoiding shortcuts and notifying supervisors of all unsafe conditions.

• Facilitating open and consistent communication with Store Teams and Field Leadership to ensure effective working relationships by:

o Keeping informed: Reading message boards and email daily. Reading company publications and newsletters

o Attending Monthly District Safety Meetings

o Statusing with the STL or LOD after completion of “Daily Brand Maintenance Checklist” to discuss the status of Great Looking Store/Brand Maintenance issues in the

store.

o Participating in store huddles (daily) and activities including community service programs

o Keeping the Great Looking Store/Brand Maintenance Communication Board current by updating all appropriate documents such as; the PM Weekly Planner, Open

Work Order Reports, Blue Card Log and Brand Scorecard Survey Results

o Participating in all Building Services HQ sponsored conference calls or meetings as requested

• Adhering to all Target Building Services Dress Code Guidelines.

GREAT LOOKING STORE/BRAND MAINTENANCE

• Supporting Brand Maintenance expectations, as defined by the Brand Maintenance Guide (F5092.33) to ensure guests and team members experience a Great Looking Store

everyday.

• Performing and completing all checklists/tasks associated with the Preventive Maintenance Program monthly.

• Prioritizing Blue Cards and Work Orders and completing the Daily Brand Maintenance Checklists to ensure action is taken on important Great Looking Store/Brand

Maintenance issues immediately.

• Using all resources available to Building Services, including the Building Service Field Team, BSOC, and HQ partners, to resolve all maintenance issues.

• Supporting all new store and remodel activities as needed.

FAST, FUN & FRIENDLY SERVICE

• Exceeding level of service (LOS) goals for repairs and Great Looking Store/Brand Maintenance programs, including LOS for Field (Special) Projects.
