Part Time Facility Manager – Automotive Parts Distribution Center

We are looking for a leader and a Manager!  Premier is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. Our goal is to create customized and integrated programs of labor services, technology and materials management that make measurable improvements in our customers' quality, production uptime and total cost.

 

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Facility Management Operations to oversee our site, working 24 hours a week.  This person must have excellent communication skills and successful experience managing the following services.

 

·         Warehouse Operations & Maintenance

·         Grounds Maintenance

·         Fleet Maintenance

·         HVAC Systems

·         Tenant Improvements

·         Janitorial Services

·         Building Security Operations

·         Experience working in a Union Environment is a plus.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

·         Maintains relationships with customers and effectively manages service delivery of existing business.

·         Actively participates in the customers’ business initiatives and develops and implements plans to meet customer needs and expectations.

·         Adjusts processes and resources to meet changing customer requirements.

·         Operates within the Premier System to drive processes and resources to meet changing customer requirements. 

·         Focuses on resource utilization, performance improvement, measurement and audit.

·         Effectively communicates necessary information and status updates to the customer and Premier Business Unit Director.  Participates in meetings and walk-through with the Customer.    

·         Produces all required reporting for both internal and customer needs.

·         Ensures compliance with applicable laws in the state and communities in which we operate.

·         Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.

In addition, the successful person for this job will possess the following:

·         Customer Service Orientation

·         Good Planning Skills

·         Ability to work under pressure.

·         Possess a sense of urgency

·         The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  

·         The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
