Painter Specialist, Maintenance Staff

The Midnight Mission, located in the heart of Los Angeles and serving the homeless and those in need since 1914, is searching for a reliable and highly skilled interior and exterior painting specialist with a great work ethic to assume a key role in our maintenance department.  This is a great career opportunity for the right candidate.

 

We are seeking a motivated, customer service-oriented professional with at least 3 years of experience in commercial painting/maintenance to service our three facilities in Los Angeles, Inglewood and Huntington Park.  The successful candidate will have a thorough overall knowledge of paints, brushes, rollers, tools, and painting products.  Primary duties will include:

 Surface Preparation, patch work, and priming;Touch-ups;Interior painting—rooms, moldings, hallways, doors, ceilings, etc.;Scaffolding set-up;Exterior painting.

 

Additionally, this self-starting and knowledgeable individual will be expected to perform various facility maintenance tasks such as general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other related duties as assigned.  A valid California Drivers License is required.  Trade and Industry Certifications would be highly desirable.  Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
