Position Description:

Facilities Manager – Office Services

Fox Interactive Media is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager. The successful candidate should be a confident manager with hands on facilities management experience and demonstrated success in exceeding the needs of an entrepreneurial, fast paced, ever-changing company.

The Daily Responsibilities included:
• Deal with the basic day-to-day facilities issues to ensure efficient and cost effective Company operations which include yet are not limited to vendor services, office plant programs, parking operations, and inventory.
• Act as liaison with building management to ensure effective delivery of services.
• Establish and maintain the schedule for routine day-to-day repair and maintenance including regular inspections of conference rooms, pantries, the café, and other common areas to ensure operation consistent with a first class location.
• Manage janitorial provider for regular and scheduled cleaning of the facilities and maintaining janitorial supplies
• Manage the food service vendor for the café and on-site food operation
• Manage Reception staff and operations, including visitor access coordination and maintenance and operation of the visitor access program.
• Manage the rideshare program to encourage rideshare among the employees and ensure compliance with government requirements.
• Ensure all buildings are safe for employees and storage with a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Oversee all recycling and waste management activities.
• Participate and facilitate in special projects such as employee events, company social events and help on logistics and procurement of supplies.
• Develop and implement company policies and procedures to improve efficiency of workflow.

You will have:
• 5-10 years experience in Facilities Administration or Facilities Management
• Ability to read and interpret building plans, specifications, building leases, etc.
• Effective facilities management including vendor, and contractor negotiations
• Food service operation oversight experience.
• Budget management experience.
• Proven record management of building repair, maintenance and modification projects.
• Knowledge of general building codes and compliance requirements, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and services.
• Knowledge of safety and emergency operations requirements.
• Hands-on and responsive with ability to resolve situations with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, well organized, project management experience, cost analysis and presentation to management.
• Intermediate Word and Excel.
