Facilities Technician

Facilities Technician Description: Volt is hiring for a bio-tech company in Bothell, WA. As Facilities Technician you will be responsible for any service calls and in-house repairs throughout company's facilities and grounds. Make periodic or special inspections of premises to determine repair work necessary. Support the installation of office furniture, as well as modifications and additions to existing furniture arrangements as required. Maintain plumbing and drains in good working order. You will also pick up and delivers parts and supplies for Facilities Department. Responsible for providing and maintaining appropriate signs and tags for all facilities equipment and office areas and provide "on call" response to facilities, building system and equipment alarms on a rotating basis. In addition, you will also back up for shipping receiving, IT, and the front desk.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a High school diploma or equivalent with 0 - 2 years experience performing maintenance and good organizational skills. You must also be a self-motivated and flexible individual who can manage multiple priorities and work within a fast-paced lab and office environment. A high level of interpersonal skills to assist others is a must. Some mechanical or electrical experience or active enrollment in a Building Operator Certification program is a plus. Previous experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or health care industry preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds and routinely work from a ladder.
