Facilities Manager

SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of facility management and maintenance, security, and safety for all KMA facilities.  Responsible for project coordination, construction, space planning.  Supervise Facilities Technician and all vendors (including facilities support, janitorial, landscaping, security, etc.). 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Manage all facility functions related to space planning, tenant improvements, relocations, leases and sub-leases, within the guidelines established for office planning and expense control

·  Responsible for the security, maintenance and repair of all KMA facilities

·  Manage all facility vendors and track budgets and expenditures in accordance with established annual budgets

·  Provide coaching and feedback for subordinate(s), also conducts performance evaluations

·  Manage life-safety training program and systems.

·  Ad hoc projects as assigned by manager, director or executive coordinator of the Department

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·  Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

·  3 to 5 years overall experience including managing staff.

·  Management experience in corporate environment preferred.

·  Advanced knowledge of project planning and management preferred

·  Excellent communication skills required (written and oral).

·  Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel

·  AutoCAD experience preferred
