Facilities Manager

This person oversees the facilities and properties:  maintenance, equipment, vehicles, technology/computers, utilities;  They are responsible to plans, recommends and implements management decisions to ensure the best use of funds, equipment and fixed assets.  Request proposals, monitors contracts, bids, for compliance and cost control.  Performs quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and industry standards. 

 

MUST have a degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in asset/facility management.  Will be responsible for budget analysis:  knowledge of federal, state and local codes and ordinances pertinent to facilities planning, design, and construction.  Basic understanding of general business law, contract law and human resources, insurances and accounting controls.  Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.  Must have advanced computer skills. (Word, excel)  This position requires a valid drivers's license and clear driving record.
