Position Summary


The Area Sales Representative will provide constant customer contact, via the telephone, to build and enhance the business relationship as well as expand the use of our contact lens in the optometrist s office. The ideal candidate is articulate, competitive, organized, persuasive, and prepared for intensive phone work. This position reports to a District Manager. A 2-week training course for the selected candidate will include sales training, product and industry knowledge, and anatomy of the eye.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Meet sales revenue quota for assigned territory on a monthly basis, including objectives built around new product launches

Meet targeted results in telephone productivity

Successfully complete Initial and Ongoing Company Training Programs

Learn and maintain competitive product and industry knowledge

Requirements

College Degree

Strong persuasive, verbal and written communication skills

Solid analytical skills.
