The Materials Supervisor is responsible for all plant shipping and receiving activities to include ensuring that transportation of materials is done in a manner that facilitates the highest quality of the product possible. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Oversees unloading of incoming production and MRO materials, and makes sure each load is verifiedOversees loading of finished goods for shipment to CustomerIs responsible for FIFO inventory management in the warehouseOversees stocking of production lines with required materialsControls and keys in paperwork associated with incoming and outgoing materialsWorks with Materials Coordinators to achieve weekly and monthly departmental inventory goalsSets up rotation and training schedules for Materials Handlers / Forklift OperatorsIdentifies opportunities for improved safety and material flow efficiencyProvides support for cycle counting programs and participates in physical inventories as requiredParticipates in and supports Customer Approved 3rd Party Quality System Requirements and 5S programsSupports plant safety programs and goalsPerforms related tasks and duties as necessary to support Production’s materials needsCommunicates and interacts with other departments as necessarySupports TUMSServices partsSupervises Materials Handlers / Forklift OperatorsPerforms other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION REQUIRED / PREFERRED:High School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's Degree preferred EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / PREFERRED:Korean and English language spoken and read highly desired3+ years Materials and/or Automotive Production background preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment and its related structuresExperience with PCs and computer hardware and softwareExperience with systems oriented problem solving required
