Technical Writer

This is a temporary position for an estimated period of 10 months.

Job Description:



Develop and modify technical manuals for the Firefinder AN/TPQ-37 radar. Manuals with be developed using quicksilver and/or Microsoft Word. May also teach operations and direct support and organizational troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of AN/TPQ 37 in the future. Assist other instructors and students in performing practical exercises on the AN/TPQ37 Radar.



Required Skills: Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams required. Ability to use Microsoft Word. Electronics knowledge, preferably in Radar. Ability to troubleshoot/maintenance and repair electronic systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.





Desired Skillls: Knowledge of AN/TPQ-36, AN/TPQ-37 Firefinder RADARs.



Minimum Degree: BSEE or equivalent, experience can substitute for educational requirements



Position at Raytheon may require US citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances.

Additional clearance may also be required from the DoD.



Some international and domestic travel may be required.
