A little background on EAMythic -

EAMythic (formerly Mythic Entertainment) recently celebrated its ten year anniversary as one of the most successful independent developers and publishers of massively-multiplayer online role-playing games in the world. Credited with 15 online games, including the award winning Dark Age of Camelot, EAMythic's success is based on proprietary technology, innovative game design and exemplary customer service delivered by a talented staff of more than 170 people.

Dark Age of Camelot is played in almost every country in the world, and is available in seven languages. EAMythic has been developing Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning since acquiring the exclusive worldwide PC and console MMORPG license from Games Workshop in May 2005.

The Concept Artist will work with a team of fellow concept artists responsible for creating concept designs for all in-game assets in Warhammer Online as well as work digitally to create exploratory sketches as well as final drawings that support the art production staff. In addition, the Concept Artist will need to concept characters, monsters, weapons, environments, armors, buildings, and much more. Additional responsibilities include matching levels of detail to the needs of the concept task as well as communicating with other art teams to ensure their design and technical needs are met in the concept work. Additional tasks may include 2D icon illustration and logo design.

Requirements:

- Published illustration work done for Warhammer Fantasy genre and a general familiarity with Warhammer IP.
- 3+ years of professional illustration or concept art experience
- Must be able to work digitally with great facility
- Must be able to work equally well on loose, exploratory sketches as well as on tight, detailed, final illustrations.
- Excellent Anatomy skills.
- Excellent fundamental Illustration skills including; Composition, Perspective, and Color Theory.
- Excellent Character Design skills with the ability to create creatures and characters in a clean, detailed style.
- Strong Environment Design skills with the ability to create organic/inorganic exterior and interior environments in a clean, detailed style.
- Experience doing concept work for game development a plus.
- Bachelors or higher degree in painting or illustration strongly desired
- A resume and portfolio that reflects the skills and abilities above
