Business Manager I-Ad Sales

Department Ad Sales Job Summary Manage the accounting functions of the business in order to support the organization in meeting company goals and objectives.

Essential Functions of the position
Provide supervisory support to the accounting staff and related support staff

Review reports to project revenue

Define and implement effective credit and collections procedures to maintain a low bad debt margin

Manage P&L activity and prepare monthly variance analysis

Reconcile balance sheet accounts including prepaid, accruals and accounts receivables

Provide input and advise General Manager regarding Charter Media needs for inclusion in the operational and capital budgets Implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets

Make recommendations to resolve any administrative, operational, or performance deficiencies in the office

Recruit, hire, and monitor performance of staff

Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Knowledge of cable television products and services
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus

Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience supervising an accounting group
