Art Director (Retail)

This position is responsible for developing and implementing brand-building, conceptual creative for retail signage and collateral. Also responsible for providing overall point of view with regard to in-store graphic design execution, including permanent and promotional signage, photography art direction, direct mail and packaging. Work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure successful execution.


Required Experience:
3+ years art director experience in the apparel retail industry.
5 years graphic design and environmental graphic design experience for the apparel retail industry.
Expertise in layout, typography, photography, and computer graphics (InDesign, Freehand, Quark, Photoshop).
Production of final artwork to required specifications for both print and signage fabrication.
Cooperative and effective team player with outstanding presentation and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently in a fast paced environment.
A portfolio of representative work will be required.
BA or AA degree in design or graphic design.
