We are currently seeking a talented 3D texture specialist.  If you are a character texture artist with a fascination with period clothing styles and the skills to bring your ideas to life we’d like to talk to you. We are a very fast growing Seattle game company working on a unique game project. We need artists that can play multiple roles such as clothing/costume design, and texturing models. In this role you need to show demonstrated ability to work closely with other team members and be eager to accommodate feedback and revisions.

 

What you will be doing in the role:Creating clothing designs in the Art Deco style of the 1920s and 30sPainting very high quality textures for 3D modelsIntegrating with other artists across the project and being mindful of maintaining our brandGoing beyond basic requirements to contribute vision and artistic inspiration

 

Skills and experience you should bring to the table:4 + years of industry experience Extremely fluent in and efficient with PhotoShop or PainterDemonstrated experience with UV mapping and texturing in Maya (or Max)Solid demonstrated understanding of figurative formsSelf-driven motivator that takes initiative on projects while fulfilling fundamental tasks Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a rapidly changing dev environment Ability to think creatively and problem solve when faced with new challenges
