Architectural Drafters
The Phoenix studio of Fitch has immediate openings for AutoCAD drafters with varying levels of experience.
This is a full-time position utilizing AutoCad software and architectural experience to prepare construction documents.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce complete sets of construction documents with limited guidance on small projects.
Work with a team on portions of work on larger projects.
Perform code review or research with limited guidance.
Assist in organization and archiving of project data and materials.
Takes direction from Job Captain or Project Manager as directed by Studio Director
Skills and Characteristics:
Proficient with AutoCAD.
Attention to detail.
Basic building code knowledge.
Basic understanding of construction methods.
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Thorough knowledge of office CAD standards.
Experience and Education:
Two year technical CAD degree, or one to two years drafting with an architectural firm.
