Job Description
Leads the development, enhancement, maintenance and training of automated internal control systems to ensure compliance with export regulations. Gathers information and assists with analyses to determine short and long-term import/export authorization requirements and lead times for inclusion in business plans. Performs research, interprets and provides guidance on trade regulations, including strategic advice on the impact of regulations on Company plans. Monitors proposed regulations and discusses with internal organizations. Assists in the development and implementation of global trade framework to ensure that Company performance and operations are within applicable trade regulations. Applies regulations to import/export operations (e.g., classification, documentation and valuation of imported merchandise). Advises business units on jurisdiction determination process and development of a commodity jurisdiction request. Develops or assists in the creation, enhancement and maintenance of automated internal control framework to ensure compliance with import/export regulations. Monitors processes, procedures, systems, supplier and internal performance and recommends process improvements. Prepares drafts of voluntary disclosures of non-compliance as needed. Develops strategy, conducts fact-finding, drafts and routes applications for review, approval and signature. Delivers export compliance training to internal audiences. Maintains files and records and develops reports/metrics as required by Company procedures and government regulations. Consolidates report input and submits to government. Incorporates new or changed record keeping or reporting requirements.

Intellectual Property: Complete understanding of intellectual property interests, and the ability to recognize and/or exploit the value of intellectual property as part of business transactions. Education
BS in Business Administration, or International Business, combined with at least 10 years education and experience preferred.
