Maintenance Planner

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
¶  Available to cover Ops planning and Production Control Shifts
¶  Assist Manager with Station Visits, Including MOC & SOC A/C Routing to improve and keep communication flow between the groups
¶  Review scheduled work load( ensure resource utilization, act as a filter for the Ops planners, liaison between Ops and Heavy Planning and MEL routing performance)
¶  Engineering control, review and authorization, various database updating, Operating schedule review and planning, monitor payroll, SOP/SP revisions, help with TRAX mods to the planning module and new release testing
¶  Assist with new hire training, automation training, re- current Mx Planner Training
¶  Forecast and develop long and short term range projections of fleet maintenance operations
¶  Monitor completion of multiple modification projects
¶  Schedule and maintain reports to communicate forecast of aircraft scheduled out of service
¶  Assist Maintenance Control to coordinate routing for MEL’s, CDL’s, short term watch items and borrowed parts
 

QUALIFICATIONS

¶  Work Authorization:  Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (current or future)
¶  Background:  Ability to provide 10 years of employment, education, unemployment history per FAR 108.33
¶  Background:  Completion of FBI criminal history check that reveals no felony convictions in most recent 10 years
¶  Internal Eligibility: Successful completion of probationary period as stated in Crew Member Handbook.
¶  Bachelors degree preferred
¶  FAA mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings or previous experience
¶  Airline maintenance planning, scheduling or production control experience
¶  Proficiency with computers including: computerized Data Collection Systems, Aircraft Maintenance Tracking Systems and Microsoft PC applications
¶  Strong written and verbal communication skills
¶  Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
