This position will manage all aspects of station operations to include customer service, ramp and cargo operations for a startup international airline.

Primary Responsibilities:Interface with all airport authorities and government entities affiliated with domestic and international operations.Handle all vendor relationships e.g., lounge services, cleaners, fuelers, passenger and baggage handling.  Conduct ongoing evaluations and audits of vendor contracts; Oversee all aspects of check-in and ticketing through a third party vendor; Manage all aspects of customer service including irregular operations;Interface with other MAXjet departments including in-flight, flight operations and maintenance to insure smooth operations;Manage financial aspects of operation including invoice processing and petty cash;Recruit and supervise station employees including Duty Managers and service personnel.  Conduct attendance reviews and monitor performance of MAXjet employees;Act as Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and Complaint Resolution Officer (CRO) for the station;

 

Qualifications10 years airline experience with a Part 121 carrier with at least 5 years of progressively responsible management experience within airline  station operations;Business degree is preferred but not required;Experience managing P&L and cargo sales operationsPossess the ability to be persuasive with customer while insuring excellent service delivery in compliance with company policies;Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook;Knowledge of Washington Dulles (IAD) airport;Must be able to clear a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test
