Airport Sales Agent (Ticket Counter/Gates) Part-Time Positions Salary: $10.39/hr Oakland, California Equal Opportunity Employer by Choice. Travel subject to service charges/restrictions. - Provide excellent assistance to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminal.
- Receive and direct incoming calls, greet and direct customers, tag and handle baggage.
- Prepare tickets, determine fares and routing to assure passenger's travel needs are met.
- Staff the ticket counter, boarding gates and baggage service area.

Required Skills:
- Must be able to work the ticket counter as well as the boarding gates and baggage service area.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must have a professional appearance.
- Must be able to pass a typing test with 20 wpm or better.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-placement physical, including strength, hearing/vision test, drug screen, fingerprint, and background investigation.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).
- Must be flexible to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Requires dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to attend five weeks of full-time training in Houston, Newark or Cleveland and pass with a 90% on the classroom curriculum.
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances.
