Our Philadelphia, PA and Norfolk, VA Maintenance Facilities currently operate twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on seventy Bombardier CRJ 50 seat aircraft. This includes scheduled inspections, and accompanying maintenance, up to and including ‘A-Checks’ and large component replacements.
We are looking for talented candidates to fill positions that support our Maintenance Operations on the east coast including Avionics Supervisors, FAA A&P certified Mechanics and Avionics Techs, Parts/Supply Clerks, and Aircraft Cleaners.

Avionics Maintenance Supervisor / ORFJob Location:

There is an immediate opening for an Avionics Maintenance Supervisor in ORF (Norfolk, VA). This position reports directly to the Director of Avionics.Responsibilities:Supervises directly and indirectly all Avionics personnel ORF. Coordinates daily Avionics Maintenance scheduling and workload planning. Works closely with Maintenance Control and ORF Facility Management to provide avionics expertise for operational issues. Ensures all Avionics work is performed correctly and safely in compliance with all applicable DOT/FAA, OSHA, EPA and company requirements. Ensures that complete and accurate records are maintained. Provides Engineering process support of modification projects. Liaison with manufacturers Field Support Engineers. Provide feedback to Tech Services and Maintenance Programs to ensure maintenance documentation is accurate. Ensures Reliability Board directives are carried out and provides feedback for reliability issues. Administer and provide forecast for departmental budget process. Administrate all company policies and procedures. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAssociate degree in aircraft maintenance or engineering FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and FCC license required Two to four years supervisory experience in a union environment in FAR Part 121 Air Carrier operations Two years experience in an Avionics line/shop environment Compensation/Benefits:

This includes line maintenance, scheduled inspections, and accompanying maintenance, up to and including ‘A-Checks’ and large component replacements. Technicians are responsible for proper completion of logbook entries, internal company forms, and work orders and the maintenance release of our aircraft.

Requirements
To be considered for a Mechanic position with AWAC, all applicants should meet the following requirements:
Airframe and Powerplant license.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Valid drivers license.
High School diploma or equivalent.
The legal right to work in the United States.
Ability to work nights, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Lift 75lbs.

Salary
$15.90 per hour starting wage
$0.50 per hour second shift premium
$0.70 per hour third shift premium
Parts/Supply Clerk
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs all computer transactions required to maintain an accurate inventory. Coordinates with departments regarding parts requirements. Responsible for the proper shipment of all dangerous goods in compliance with all Company policies and procedures and the International Air Transport Association. Responsible for maintaining accuracy on a multi-million dollar inventory. Responsible for maintaining the security of the Parts and Supply warehouse. Expedites and coordinates the movement of aircraft parts. Unloads delivery trucks utilizing a forklift, pallet jack and utility cart. Provides support to all departments regarding supplies. Answers and transfers several phone lines. Processes various shipments utilizing outside shipping software. Unpacks, packs, inspects, stocks and stores parts and products utilizing standard warehouse tools and equipment and motorized vehicles. Performs administrative functions associated with processing aircraft parts and Company supplies. Performs minor building repair and ground equipment maintenance.
Preferred Education/Experience:
Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years computer experience. 1-2 years warehouse and inventory experience. Valid driver's license required.
