Tree Care Foreman Needed

Join the Northeast's premier tree, shrub, and lawn Care Company. Our Saybrook, CT branch is seeking General Tree Care Foremen who will be responsible for the training, development and leadership of our field crews.

Responsibilities:

* Lead a general tree care crew in performing or perform specialized pruning and takedowns, installing cabling and bracing, safely operating equipment (chainsaw, chipper, trucks, hand tools)

* Utilize knowledge of compartmentalization and other concepts related to tree wounding/pruning

* Be able to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics

* Maintain excellent client relations and provide thorough information to clients

Applicable experience preferred:

* Proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals

* Chain saw safety and operation

* Tree climbing

* Bucket truck operation

* CDL license Class B or the ability to obtain one
