FIELD TECHNICIAN—POULTRY

As Field Technician, you will serve as a critical contact to the company’s contract broiler house operators.  You will make regular visits to these broiler houses to ensure the health and growth of the flocks.  You will perform such tasks as:


- Broadcast vaccinations.


- Blood sampling.


- Growth checks.


- Maintaining proper documentation.


- Developing a liaison relationship with the contractors.


 


To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:


- Bachelor’s Degree in either Poultry Science, Agricultural Science, or Animal Science.


- 1 – 3 Years experience in either poultry or swine field technician position is ideal, but new graduates are encouraged to apply (training will be provided).


- Independent personality.  Must be able to carry out work assignments in an “out in the field” setting.


- Ability to perform tests in reliable, standardized fashion and keep good records.


- Ability to represent the company in a solid, professional manner.
