Principal Analyst (Exercise Planner)

EWA GSI of Herndon, VA has an immediate opening for an experienced Principal Specialist (Exercise Planner) in West Virginia.  Successful applicant will serve as a Weapons of Mass Destruction General Exercise Planner at the Center for National Response (CNR) located near Charleston, WV.  Individual will be responsible for the design, development, coordination and support for Consequence Management, Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), Counter Terrorism, and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) event scenarios at the CNR. Must have knowledge and experience in training scenarios, incident notifications, exercise plans, player/controller handbooks, and Master Scenario Events Lists (MSELs). Must be knowledgeable in military training methods and standards.   Must be familiar with State, Local, Federal, or Military emergency response safety requirements. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years experience in Emergency Management first responder arena, or an Associates degree in related field with at least 4 years experience within the Emergency Management first responder arena, or 6 years experience in WMD Emergency Management training field with Professional certifications in related fields.  Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  Travel is required.  Excellent company benefits.  US citizenship required.  Principals only.  EOE.
