We are seeking experienced Electrical Systems Engineers! The following summarizes the minimum position requirements and qualifications:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of electrical systems engineering work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. Knows and applies the functional concepts, practices and procedures of the electrical field. Researches, develops, designs, and tests the manufacturing and installation of electrical components, equipment, and systems for commercial aircraft. ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LEGALLY ELIGIBLE FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THE U.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes, but is not limited to the following:
• Responsible for the overall design of the electrical and electronic systems such as IFE, PC Power, Seat Power, Proximity Lighting, etc. for commercial aircraft.
• Develops documentation to support system design, installation, and testing (ELA, Functional Tests, EMI Tests, TSA, etc.).
• Develop overall system architecture and installation.
• Confer and coordinate with other internal groups, electrical installation, electrical standards, certification, and manufacturing.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:Position requires the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.3-5 years current/recent experience in the aerospace or aviation industry, as an Electrical Engineer, within an Aircraft Interiors and/or Aircraft Interior (component-level) electrical engineering capacity.Proficient in Computer Aided Design (CAD) skills, specifically AutoCAD and/or Pro-Engineer.
