Cost Analyst (5217)

Perform financial cost analysis and reporting for programs. Reviews, and/or conducts cost, schedule, and contract performance; variance and risk analysis and prepares reports as required. Participates in the development of or develops cost controls, procedures, systems and forecasting techniques to evaluate program status, ensuring compliance with government and customer requirements. Develops life cycle cost estimates and supports Program Managers with cost proposals, basis of estimates and other cost estimations as requested.
Job and pay level depend upon education and experience. Certifications may be required or may be considered a plus. Multiple job levels may be available from Entry Level, Intermediate, Mid-Career, Senior/Lead.
