Chief Inspector and A&P Mechanics

CHIEF INSPECTOR and A&P MECHANICS
Grand Canyon Airlines (GCA) is a Part 135 non-scheduled operator, believed to be the world’s oldest, most experienced air tour company since 1927. GCA operates a fleet of specially modified deHavilland Twin Otter DHC-6-300 aircraft and has a base of operations in Grand Canyon, AZ and Boulder City, NV. GCA provides air tour and charter services at Grand Canyon and other scenic wonders throughout the southwest. GCA has immediate full time openings for a qualified Chief Inspector and for A&P Mechanics in both Grand Canyon and Boulder City.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must comply with FARs and company requirements
Perform maintenance on DHC-6-300 aircraft, and occasionally a variety of other transient aircraft as needed at GCN
Work on Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines
Willing to work weekends, holidays, swing shifts, split shifts, or night shifts as required
Willing to work overtime as required
Willing to travel as required
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic License is required
United States citizen or legal authorization to work in the United States
Must be able to indicate the development of mechanical aptitude, other than school
Must have good communication skills and able to follow instructions and procedures
Must maintain a positive and professional image
Must have a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle insurance requirements
Must have minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
Able to routinely lift 75 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces
