Business and Pricing Analyst

Korry Electronics, a subsidiary of Esterline, is the internationally recognized leader in the design and manufacture of electro-optical display products, subsystems and discrete components for the aerospace and defense industries. We currently have an opening for a Business and Pricing Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct interface and influence on the financial side of new and follow-on business acquisitions in both commercial and military aerospace environments.

Primarily responsible for all pricing, cost estimating, cost related business analysis and financial modeling. Insures that all critical tools and databases are current and up to date and that pricing is prepared and administered within all required guidelines including maintaining backup to support positions as required by ISO, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant regulations. Reports to the Business Manager: Proposals, Pricing and Revenue Forecasting.

REQUIREMENTS

BA required preferred in Economics and or Finance, MBA preferred. Requires 5-10 years progressive, related experience. Must have strong analytical, presentation and people skills with a broad understanding of Aerospace business practices. Ability to take a leadership role on large projects, as well as act as a team player. Should possess thorough understanding of company structure, aerospace manufacturing, avionics, pricing, proposals and accounting practices. Solid understanding of accounting and /or proposal practices required by the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and TINA (Truth in Negotiations). Must be capable of interfacing objectively with people at all levels and all functions within the organization including Sales, Manufacturing, Contracts, Accounting, Program Management and Sr. Management.
