Job Title: Avionics Engineer, Aircraft Electrical Modification Engineer

 

Job Description:Responsible for integration of broadband communications systems and distribution networks on board commercial aircraft, including all electrical integration, analysis, and coordination with other disciplines.Responsible for generating and checking electrical drawings (i.e. Wiring Diagrams, Harness Assembly, Routing and Clipping), analysis and reports for modifications to commercial/corporate/private aircraft. Prior experience serving as primary technical interface with external organizations and integrate the efforts of supporting functions.Prepare and/or check documentation as necessary to satisfy customer, company and regulatory requirements.Monitor and report status versus requirements.

 

Experience Requirements:Experience with aircraft broadband communications/data and wireless distribution on board.5 years experience working on business aircraft completions or modifications.Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of elctro-magnetic interference between electrical systems.Familiar with AutoCAD, Solid Works, and CATIA
