Web Content Administrator

  Infinity Insurance, a national provider of automobile insurance, is looking for a Web Content Administrator for our Birmingham, AL corporate office.  This newly created position will assist with web development, creation and content on both external consumer websites and internal company websites.  Ensures consistency in content and design standards.  Will work closely with individual departments to meet their needs and with the IT department to coordinate programming, testing and roll out of sites.

Job Requirements:

* College degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English or Computer Science preferred

* College degree may be substituted for equivalent experience. Candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position including web content development, web design, copy writing, editing, etc. 

* Understanding of web analytics or measurement tools such as Coremetrics, Webtrends, and Hitbox

* Working knowledge of content management solutions such as TeamSite (Interwoven), Eprise, Vignette or Hummingbird (Red Dot)

*Knowledge of search engine best practices and online marketing tools and vendors

*  Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript or similar coding tools

*  Ability to understand, translate and communicate complex concepts and to convert them into easy-to-understand language
