Proposal Coordinator

PROPOSAL COORDINATOR Reports to:   Director, Proposal Development/Sales Performance MetricsSummary

The Proposal Coordinator takes direction from the assigned Proposal Manager and supports the proposal team in proposal development and facilitation processes, meeting all milestones. 

 Major Duties and Responsibilities

·  Support management in developing and producing bids and proposals

·  Schedules Bid Meetings

·  Reviews and analyzes solicitations (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, etc.).

·  Retrieve boilerplate and previous proposal narrative

·  Editing, formatting, and production of proposals

·  Archive proposal documentation to be used as template/boilerplate.

·  Maintain & monitor proposal network library of boilerplate, sample, and re-use text and graphics

·  Data entry of new solicitations (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, etc.) Skills and Experience

·  A bachelor degree is desired, however, an associate degree is acceptable – must be in a related discipline.

·  With at least 1-3 years of related experience preferably in a proposal environment.

·  Some sales/marketing experience preferred.

·  Skilled in Windows operating systems and e-mail product, preferably Microsoft Outlook

·  Highly proficient in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

·  Strong written and oral communication skills

·  Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet schedules

·  Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while completely comfortable working in a team environment

·  Detail-oriented
