Marketing Manager (Temporary) Milwaukee

H&R Block seeks a temporary marketing/sales manager to assist in a variety of activities.

 

Timing: 14-week commitment – with potential for extensions

• November 6, 2006 to February 10, 2007

• Mandatory training session in Kansas City, MO week of Nov 6th

• Full time commitment from Contractors – including some nights and weekends.

 

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and execute events

• Assist in the execution of awareness-building activities which could include media placement, PR exposure, and relationship building with area organizations

• Budget Tracking/ Allocation

· Train and manage street teams

• Reporting- weekly status reports, event/tactic reporting

 

Necessary Attributes/ Requirements:

• 2+ years marketing/education/sales/promotions experience

• Reliable transportation with proof of current insurance; mobility in market mandatory (will be given fuel allowance)

• Knowledge of local market geography, media groups, other marketing resources

• Experience with print production (must be able to manipulate collateral pieces and communicate with print vendors for production by deadlines)

• Able to meet weekly reporting deadlines

• Must be comfortable speaking in front of small groups and interacting with clients

• Polished, professional demeanor

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Two Years College preferred

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

• Ability to read, write and clearly communicate in English

 

Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
