Our catalog of language learning solutions includes English (ESL), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.
Our U.S. office is a fast growing company and is composed of a dedicated group of professionals. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to help deepen our penetration in the U.S. corporate, government, and education markets.
- Summary -
The Marketing Manager oversees the marketing activities undertaken in our corporate, government, and education markets.
Position in Phoenix, AZ (next to Sky Harbor Airport).
- Key Responsibilities -Manage external marketing activities in our corporate, education, and government segments. Oversee advertising activities for the three professional markets.Coordinate trade show activities. Develop and execute programs for improved lead generation and market awareness. Make professional presentations to trade groups, educational entities, and other constituents. Develop and support PR strategies.Negotiate advantageous partnerships and marketing supplier arrangements.Interact with the sales force to understand and enhance the rate of closure on lead generation activities.Analyze marketing expenditure returns.Collect customer feedback to inform product development.Hours of work, starting at 7:00AM or earlier.
- Qualifications -3+ years' experience in professional marketing, preferably in the technological and educational arena. An understanding of the marketing mix and how to harness its components to drive improved profitability. An understanding of the consultative sales cycle is helpful. Ability to successfully interact with various types of people. Proven ability to achieve positive, measurable results in marketing mix activities. An ability to think creatively in positioning a brand that is emerging in the U.S. A sense of driving projects to closure, and a positive, winning attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Experience in Internet technologies, online education, and/or adult/ESL/children education. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook. BA or BS required, MBA a plus.Foreign Language Fluency definitely a plus.
