GPS Advertising Account Executive

DESCRIPTIONOur client is the industry leader in golf course GPS systems. They are a publicly traded company that is the fastest growing golf course GPS company in the world. They sell and install golf course GPS systems to high-end golf courses all over the world. They have over 400 installed systems in the US and are on schedule to install another 120 courses in 2006. Our client owns over 65% of the market share and had increased sales of $5 million dollars in 2005 from 2004.  Total First Year Compensation for this position will equal $150,000+ .

Our client is currently looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as a GPS Advertising Account Executive. This person will be responsible for:

Selling allotted inventory in certain markets of the country to local and regional businesses.
Researching qualified advertisers and cold calling them to sell the space.
Networking in local areas and using existing account book to secure space.
Salesperson will be responsible for entering orders into our system and reporting sales numbers to supervisor.REQUIREMENTSMust have 5+ Years of Prior Advertising Sales Experience in a local market.
Must have a High School Diploma.
Must have Strong Presentation and Computer Skills.
Must have Cold Calling and Networking Experience.
MUST BE A GOLFER and understand the Dynamics Surrounding the Demographic.
Good Feel of Technology Field a Plus!
Experience selling Radio advertising and selling into golf publications preferred!
