Slappey Communications is a regional leader in the sales and service of complex solutions involving digital and IP communications platforms and voice processing software.



We are currently seeking an exceptional accounting professional that has a proven track record and a winning attitude. Experience in telecommunications, especially in billing or CLEC is ideal. Experienced understanding of GL accounts and income statements is essential.

Our accounting processes, in many cases, are quite complex. Consequently, we greatly value experience that demonstrates a strong analytical ability, creativity that leads to innovative automation, and competent programming skills.

 

QUALIFYING FACTORS: Accounting degree or extensive experience comparable in small business accounting, CLEC billing, Consolidated billing services.
Successful candidates will be creative and have the ability to write procedures and organize their tasks. They will need to learn quickly to be able to grasp the big picture and use it magnify down to the details to ensure that everything gets accomplished.Successful candidates will be able to see how to more efficiently perform tasks and procedures and can automate or suggest how to automate the processes included in the job.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a progressive accounting history that includes skills in profit/loss statements, leases and amortization, and process automation.

JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES:Workflow management and quality control of accounts receivable and accounts payable staff
Analyzing and managing Financial Statements and financial reporting on a monthly and yearly basis
General Ledger analyzing, managing and balancing
Cash flow managing, projecting, decision making, and goal setting
Credit Line management
Analyzing and making recommendations regarding insurance choices
Monthly revenue projections and tracking
Preparing and tracking leases and lease buyouts for customers
Fixing and troubleshooting database errors and anomalies
