Manager of Internal Audit

Our client a prominent employer located in Birmingham, AL has an immediate need for an experienced audit manager to lead their internal audit team.  As the Manager of internal audit you will be responsible for the supervision of 2 – 3 audit staff, presenting and participating in various audit committee meetings, overseeing the reporting of audit findings and recommending corrective actions, ensuring proper controls are maintained and in place, establishing audit procedures as needed, and the overall management of both the company’s operational and financial audit process. A qualified candidate MUST have 5 – 8 years of related internal or external audit experience and MUST have a CPA or CIA!  Job requires some light day travel only with a salary up to $75,000 depending on experience.
