Summary:

This position will assume plant level responsibility for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting financial information. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

 

Manage the standard cost system, develop and present performance based metrics that drive manufacturing and inventory reconciliation, maintenance of active products, monitoring yields, obsolescence, cycle counting, cost by process/cost by part.  Gathering, analyzing, reviewing and presenting cost data. 

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:  Preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and other financial reports, creating journal entries, assisting with budget and forecast activities, daily cash management and forecasting,

 

 

Qualification and Education Requirements:

 

To be considered for this position the candidate must have a BA degree with a major in Finance or Accounting.

The candidate must also have 5 + years of related manufacturing plant operations and cost accounting systems experience.  This position requires initiative, good judgement, persistence and creative ability.  Qualified candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment, remain flexible and must be able to communicate at all levels within the organization.  CPA and/or MBA is highly desirable.  Experience in a turn-around situation a plus.
